The Norse Völva Månstråle wants to lift the old female primordial power through these runes. Völva runes are octagonal in shape, which symbolizes the eight directions of the Norse goddess wheel where we find Hel in the Northwest, Skade in the North, Saga in the Northeast, Idun in the East, Freja in the Southeast, Sunna in the South, Frigga in the Southwest and Ran in West.
This magical rune set is dedicated to each of the eight Norse goddesses, whose energy is strong in working with these runes.
The box itself is a beautiful piece of jewelry that you can use to decorate your altar. With inspiration from the Moon Temple where the sign adorned by this crescent moon in Norse design, the idea for the Völva runes box was born. The Moon Temple is located in the middle of an old Viking site where the energies speak of ancient mysteries and forgotten knowledge.
The rune tiles and the box are made from oak wood. They are slightly aged, stained with a Bismarck Brown stain, made by us according to an ancient recipe. The tiles are extremely smooth, yet they have an antique look.
